About Me

Cree Hayunga

Cree Hayunga, is a passionate designer and creative professional who specializes in many artistic and design fields, including fine art, residential + interior design, 3D modeling, rendering, and hands on construction. Born in Santa Fe NM, too artists Anne Staveley, and Grant Hayunga, Cree grew up surrounded by creativity and inspiration. She spent her formative years experimenting with chalk pastels (among other medium), sewing clothes, and building/reconstructing her bunk bed. After graduating high school in 2013 she attend Auburn School of Architecture, in Auburn Alabama, where she spent five years studying design and fine art.

Following her years at Auburn University, she returned to Santa Fe where she joined NEEDBASED Inc. (now B.Public Prefab) the summer of 2018 as an Architectural Associate. Over the next five years Cree focused on custom residential, Passive House Design. A German style of building that prioritizes eco friendly practices and energy efficient construction. At Needbased she gained invaluable experience in design, construction and project execution, through close work with brilliant architects, designers, and contractors. After 5 years of working with the teams at Needbased inc. and the new B.Public Prefab and advancing to the position of Project Manager/Designer, Cree decided to part ways and open her own small, multifaceted, design studio.

In 2022, Cree founded Hayunga DESIGN (HD), a platform that allowed her the freedom and time to explore more artistic endeavors including; 3D modeling, rendering, and fine art, while continuing to hone her skills in interior + residential design, and drafting.

Now located in Brooklyn NY, Cree is running Hayunga DESIGN and following her other artistic passions. While working freelance for several lovely designers and architects around the US generating, photorealism + concept renderings and drawings to assist in design, client communication, and fixture+finish selection.
